A Mary Poppins moment..

When life gives you crumbs,
feed the birds...

A winter abstract..

Finally the last leaves on my  Chinese Tallow tree  have fallen. There was quite an impressive pile, so impressive in fact that I had to demonstrate much self control once raked into a mighty pile not to dive in :) I think I've mentioned before the importance of having deciduous trees in the garden here in Perth.. sometimes it can be the only way to recognize that it actually IS winter! Couldn't resist having a play with the shot.. don't you think the effect below would be a super design for wallpaper, china, quilt cover etc :) TGIF take care and stay safe..  P.s. both images look so much better embiggened..

CDP Theme Day.. 'Motion'.

Somewhere under all those blue and white swirls there is a petit belly dancer! I saved this shot from an event in the city back in March.. I don't often think so far ahead but from now on my motto is 'be prepared' :) we'll see how long that lasts! Looking forward to seeing more interpretations of the theme from around the world.. Happy 1st of July, take care and stay safe.. P.s. rain and storms in Perth today, I might get that elusive umbrella shot yet!

Lady in red..

Is it possible for photo bloggers to just sit and enjoy the view without thinking 'hmmm! wonder how that would look'.. the only way I can do it is if I leave my camera at home and that happens.. never :) Sitting in the Reveley  in Elizabeth Quay  waiting for Aimee a few days ago the reflections looking through to the city were too tempting, the lady in red above was my favourite but the waiter below looking as if he's clearing the seagulls off the boat ramp made me smile too.. reflections are so much fun :) Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe...
