Let Summer Begin!

 We got to have a bbq in Chico for Father's Day.

 We found a baby quail in the front yard and took care of it for a week til it died of apparent respiratory failure or pneumonia.  Very sad...

 We went to Oroville and saw Inside Out with Auntie Chelsie--such a good movie!

 We did LOTS of blackberry picking and eating at the Payne's house.

 We went to the AfterBay with Leishman's, Singh's, and Engelman's and Kara wasn't a fan of wearing a swimsuit--she was happy to be free and feel the sand between her cheeks.

 Running around naked is becoming a common occurrence around here.

 Grandma D took the girls shopping in Yuba City and they all got new summer clothes.

 The girls picked out a new outfit with Mom for straight A report cards too!

Swim caps never fail to produce laughter!  Kara isn't necessarily enjoying spending every morning at swim team, but she's putting up with it pretty well.  We're loving our lazy, sun and pool-filled days and having much less of a schedule to adhere to.
